Gimme

Privacy policy

Last updated 21 October 2026 · usegimme.app

Gimme (“we”) helps families and friends share wishlists. This page explains what we store, why, and your rights under UK GDPR. Questions: hello@usegimme.app.

What we store

Why

Only to run Gimme: showing your lists to the groups you share them with, keeping claims secret, and running Secret Santa. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Cookies and storage

We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and remember small preferences. These are essential. Analytics and affiliate cookies (which tell a shop that you came from Gimme) are only used if you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. You can delete gifts, lists and groups at any time, or your whole account in Settings → Delete my account, which removes your data from our database.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@usegimme.app. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Gimme accounts are for people aged 13 and over. Parents can add gift ideas for younger children on their own lists.
